Gene L. Hamilton
Gene Hamilton, an American artist born in 1947, attended the Kansas City Art Institute and Drake University, where he received a BFA in Art Education and Sculpture. He made his living as a professional artist, along with his wife, artist Carlie Hamilton, for many decades exhibiting in galleries nationwide. His sculptures, prints, and paintings can be found in museum and corporate collections throughout the country.
After retiring from fine art, Gene began drawing live caricatures at events and parties for many years, as well as private caricatures for individuals, corporations and governments. His love of animals spawned another avenue, creating pet portraits for people as well.
