Gene attended the Kansas City Art Institute and received a BFA in Art Education and Sculpture from Drake University. He has work in museum and corporate collections throughout the United States.
Gene draws caricatures at live events, creates cartoons for magazines, and has illustrated books. He's done work for individuals, corporations and government.
In addition to his art career, Gene has worked as an actor,. He's appeared in five major motion pictures including "About Schmidt" where he was Jack Nicholson's photo double. He's a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and has appeared as a Jack Nicholson impersonator at numerous corporate events.
